Article Abstract
Described are five patients who developed palmaris brevis (PB) spasm syndrome following prolonged use of a computer mouse and keyboard. Elecromyography showed spontaneous activity characterized by irregular discharges of single motor unit potentials and myokymia from PB muscle that did not disappear after ulnar nerve block at the wrist, suggesting a distal lesion.
